Monkey Island Redux going for a song on Steam

The modern remake of point and click adventure The Secret of Monkey Island is going for under £2 on Steam. So there’s only one thing to do: buy, buy, buy! In case you’re not familiar with the series, Monkey Island was originally released in 1990 and you play Guybrush Threepwood, a slightly lame pirate, who gets involved with the dangerous LeChuck. This remake updates the graphics but keeps the ridiculous plot and hilarious script of the original.

We’re on a bit of point and click high at Phonica because Machinarium has just made its way into our hands. Check out the review when it comes out in Issue 6, but let’s just say for now that it’s a thing of utter beauty.

Steam are offering great discounts on 5 different games every day for the next 4 days so make sure you keep checking back to see what else is on offer.
